What I'm Loving Wednesday...NYC edition.

I am LOVING that it's time again for WILW! As always I've linked up with littlemissdaisymay and her lovely What I'm Loving Wednesday post!

I'm LOVING that I still have a few more photos from our fabulous nyc trip to share with all of you!

I'm LOVING that while we were there we were able to spend time with two of my favorite families, the Maneri's and the Samples! My family as I mentioned before moved a lot and one of the places we lived before CA was New Jersey! We lived in Bergen County which is almost less than an hour outside of NYC, it was only for a short 4 years but while there I made a life long friend in Whitney!

We're both the oldest in our families me the oldest of 5 her 4 and our siblings also became friends as did our parents, I can say with confidence that almost every weekend during those 4 years you could find the two of us together, at a sleepover, playing house, teacher, etc.

After my family moved to CA we continued to stay close and visited each other alternating coasts every summer. I was the maid of honor in her wedding and I flew out as fast as I could as soon as she had her beautiful baby boy Carson! Our friendship has lasted almost 20 years, and I am so lucky to have a life long friend in her. One of the BEST things about my parents being in nyc is that I will be able to see her more often as well!

Whitney made homeade churros that night for dessert, we kept calling them cho-nuts though because she made them round like a donut, I'm sure it was only funny to us, but we could not stop laughing, nothing like picking up right where you left off with old friends.

We had a wonderful time at dinner and I can't wait to see them all again and her growing belly in a few short months!!

I am LOVING that we spent our last full day in NYC strolling the resevoir in Central Park, such a famous spot and so beautiful on a fall day! We even made a second stop at the Boat House for some wine and cheese, this time with mom & dad in tow!
